Total League round 7 most important game was a victory of Etzella over 5th ranked T71 91-66 on Saturday night. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Derrick Barden (196-92, college: N.Colorado) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Philippe Gutenkauf (181-95) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Four Etzella players scored in double figures. Etzella's coach Jan Enjebo felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Cory Johnson (202-88, college: Valparaiso) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import power forward Eric Anderson (204-93, college: New Haven, agency: Duran International) added 19 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for T71. Etzella (14-10) moved-up to third place in League. T71 at the other side keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Etzella will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. T71 will play on the road against Contern (#4) in Luxembourg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
