Four Bruins players scored in double figures. Bruins' coach felt very confident using entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Olivia White responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and point guard Lauren Sparks (168, college: Lubbock Christian) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Bruins will face Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (#8) in Narrabeen in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hawks will play on the road against Hunters in Newcastle and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
