But Hawks were not able to use a home court advantage and were outscored by the opponent from Condell Park 83-52 on Saturday night. Four Bruins players scored in double figures. Bruins' coach felt very confident using entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Olivia White responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and point guard Lauren Sparks (168, college: Lubbock Christian) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Bruins will face Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (#8) in Narrabeen in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hawks will play on the road against Hunters in Newcastle and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
