Regular Season Round 3: Hills H. - Sutherland S. 78-89

There was a minor upset when Hills Hornets (1-2) lost to Sutherland Sharks (1-2) in Baulkham Hills 78-89 on Saturday. Sutherland Sharks made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Hills Hornets turnovers. It was a good game for American Isaac Turner (191-92, college: St.Vincent) who led his team to a victory with 33 points (!!!). Bailey Musulin contributed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized Croatian power forward Goran Veg (205) answered with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks and naturalized British forward Paul Brotherson (198-89, college: Metro St.) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Hills Hornets. Four Hills Hornets players scored in double figures. Hills Hornets' coach tested eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sutherland Sharks will face Spiders (#4) in Hornsby in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
