The game between closely ranked teams ended with 4th placed Bambitious Nara's (17-29) road loss to third ranked Tokyo Z (19-28) 65-102 on Saturday. Tokyo Z dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Bambitious Nara's 36 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Deon Jones (198-93, college: Monmouth) who scored 28 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) chipped in 26 points and 7 rebounds. Five Tokyo Z players scored in double figures. Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tokyo Z maintains third place with 19-28 record having twelve points less than leader Gunma. Loser Bambitious Nara keeps the fourth position with 29 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
