Everything went according to plan when third ranked Tokyo HT (21-11) defeated at home 7th ranked Saitama Broncos (12-20) 81-68. Saitama Broncos were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. Power forward Edward Morris (204-84, college: Pittsburg St.) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Brian Harper (208-85, college: Paine) chipped in 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest. Four Tokyo HT players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Brent Jennings (193-88, college: So.Poly State, agency: Interperformances) with 21 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Cyrus Tate (203-85, college: Iowa) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tokyo HT have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 21-11 record having eight points less than leader Kanazawa Sam. Saitama Broncos at the other side keep the seventh place with 20 games lost.
