Regular Season Round 24: Siena Virtus - USE Basket 69-60

There was an upset when higher ranked USE Basket (13-10) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Siena Virtus (11-13) 69-60 on Saturday. Siena Virtus forced 24 USE Basket turnovers. USE Basket was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of center Lorenzo Bruno (198-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and guard Ferdinando Nasello (194-95) who added 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Daniele Mariotti (186-84) with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Filippo Giannini (180-91) scored 15 points. USE Basket's coach Giovanni Bassi let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Siena Virtus moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Padova. Loser USE Basket dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. Siena Virtus will face Oleggio (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
