Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Melsele (9-14) and Gistel Oostende (8-15), which took place in Melsele. Higher ranked Melsele lost at home to twelfth ranked Gistel Oostende 89-98. Melsele was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Gistel Oostende made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Gistel Oostende's next round opponent will be higher ranked Gembo BBC (#3) in Borgerhout and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
