Regular Season Round 19: Bima Perkasa - CLS Knights 85-82 OT

Bima Perkasa (2-12) outlasted CLS Knights (10-3) in overtime by three points 85-82 on Saturday night. CLS Knights were trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 8-point lead after three quarters before a 21-13 charge of Bima Perkasa, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 10-7. CLS Knights were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American point guard Tyrell Corbin (184-92, college: CSU Bakersfield) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Bahamas center Gjio Bain (211-85, college: S.Mississippi) helped adding 12 points and 15 rebounds. At the losing side Canadian guard Ashton Smith (187-89, college: Indiana, PA) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and the former international Bima-Risky Ardiansyah (174-81) scored 20 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bima Perkasa maintains tenth place with 2-12 record. Defending champion CLS Knights keep the second position with three games lost. Bima Perkasa will have a break next round. CLS Knights will play at home against Hang Tuah and hope to win that game.
