American guard Tu Holloway (182-89, college: Xavier) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 9 assists. His fellow American import point guard Jordan Taylor (188-89, college: Wisconsin, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Coach Dan Shamir's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Kevin Dillard (183-89, college: Dayton) answered with 18 points and the former international Jake Cohen (208-90, college: Davidson) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Maccabi Ashdod. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon maintains second place with 16-7 record behind leader Maccabi T-A. Maccabi Ashdod at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Hapoel Holon will play against league's leader Maccabi T-A in Tel-Aviv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Maccabi Ashdod will play at home against Bnei Hasharon (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
