Regular Season Round 22: Sigal Prishtina - Bashkimi 95-85

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Prishtina. First ranked Sigal Prishtina faced their biggest opponent Bashkimi. Host Sigal Prishtina (17-3) defeated guests from Prizren (15-4) 95-85. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Bashkimi. The game without a history. Sigal Prishtina led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Bashkimi's players. The former international forward Drilon Hajrizi (203-91) fired 23 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Sigal Prishtina players scored in double figures. Sigal Prishtina's coach Audrius Prakuraitis used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Justin Black (188-92, college: Morgan St., agency: Octagon Europe) produced 25 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Kayel Locke (196-94, college: NC-Greensboro) added 26 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-3 record. Bashkimi at the other side dropped to the third place with four games lost. Sigal Prishtina are looking forward to face league's second-placed Peja in Peje in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bashkimi will play at home against Kerasan and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
