Regular Season Round 22: Peja - Ylli 110-78

Date: March 18, 2017
The game with biggest result difference took place in Peje. Local Peja (15-3) outscored 5th ranked Xhebrailat (10-11) 110-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Xhebrailat. The game was mostly controlled by Peja. Xhebrailat was better in fourth quarter 30-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Peja players were unselfish on offense dishing 39 assists comparing to just 23 passes made by Xhebrailat's players. Arti Hajdari (190-93) notched 30 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American point guard Cameron Rundles (188-88, college: Wofford) supported him with 20 points and 10 assists. Even a triple-double of 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists by American Trae Anderson (196, college: E.Illinois) did not help to save the game for Xhebrailat. Center Ergin Grosha (211-93) added 23 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Peja have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Xhebrailat at the other side keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Peja's next round opponent will be league's leader Sigal Prishtina on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Xhebrailat will play against Trepca (#4) in Mitrovice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
