Regular Season Round 31: Hindu - Salta Basket 72-79

There was a minor upset when leader Hindu (27-7) lost to fourth ranked Salta Basket (18-16) in Chaco 72-79 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for American forward LaQuan Prowell (203-84, college: Auburn) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Gregorio Eseverri (194-87) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Nicolas Paletta (180-87) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and American Kenny Jones (198-84, college: Kentucky St., agency: DTMones) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hindu. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Salta Basket moved-up to third place, which they share with Barrio Parque. Loser Hindu still keeps top position with seven games lost. Salta Basket will face Mitre Tuc. (#7) in Tucuman in the next round. Hindu will play on the road against Barrio Parque (#3) in Cordoba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
