Regular Season Round 22: Rapla - Parnu 93-91

Important game to mention about took place in Rapla. Third ranked Rapla (15-9) saved a 2-point victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Parnu (13-11) 93-91 in the fight for the third place. Rapla made 16-of-17 charity shots (94.1 percent) during the game. International Martin Paasoja (191-93) notched 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) to lead the effort and Dutch center Thomas van-der-Mars (208-90, college: Portland) supported him with 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Even 30 points and 8 rebounds by Lithuanian swingman Edvinas Seskus (196-95, agency: Players Group) did not help to save the game for Parnu. Croatian center Domagoj Bubalo (212-91) added 20 points for lost side. Five Rapla and four Parnu players scored in double figures. Rapla maintains third position with 15-9 record having three points less than leader Tartu Ulikool. Parnu at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. Rapla will play against Valga (#7) at home in the next round. Parnu will play against BC Rakvere and hopes to get back on the winning track.
