Regular Season Round 46: Osaka Evessa - Yokohama BC 73-90

There was a minor upset when 3rd ranked Osaka Evessa (21-23) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Yokohama BC (15-29) 90-73 on Saturday. Yokohama BC made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Osaka Evessa was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international center Pape Faye (200-87) chipped in 13 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Five Yokohama BC players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Richard Roby (198-85) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Yokohama BC maintains fifth position with 15-29 record. Osaka Evessa lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with 23 games lost. Yokohama BC will have a break next round. Osaka Evessa will play again at home against Yokohama BC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
