Regular Season Round 24: Cadi La Seu - Campus Promete 75-57

The game in Seu D'urgell supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th ranked Campus Promete (12-12) played at the court of seventh ranked Cadi La Seu (13-11). Cadi La Seu did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 75-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Cadi La Seu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Cadi La Seu forced 25 Campus Promete turnovers. The best player for the winners was Mali power forward Meiya Tirera (186-86) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. German point guard Svenja Brunckhorst (179-91) chipped in 10 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Robyn Parks (183-92, college: VCU) who recorded 17 points and her fellow American import Leslie Knight (184-86) added 12 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cadi La Seu have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Araski. Loser Campus Promete dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Gipuzkoa UPV. Cadi La Seu will meet league's second-placed Argon Uni Girona on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Campus Promete will play against Gipuzkoa UPV (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
