Everything went according to plan in Aanekoski where fourth ranked Peli-Karhut (15-12) outscored 9th ranked Aanekosken (7-20) 100-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Peli-Karhut. Aanekosken was better in fourth quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Peli-Karhut dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Aanekosken's 42. Peli-Karhut forced 25 Aanekosken turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Aanekosken's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Akilah Sims (178-94, college: IUPUI) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Daisha Simmons (178-91, college: Seton Hall, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who added 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Peli-Karhut players scored in double figures. At the losing side Ghanian forward Batabe Zempare (188-94, college: CSU Bakersfield, agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and American center Kenya Robinson (183-70, college: New Orleans) scored 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Aanekosken's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Peli-Karhut maintains fourth position with 15-12 record. Aanekosken lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 20 games lost.
