Leader Sesto SG delivered the twentieth victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Albino (9-13) 74-27. The game without a history. Sesto SG led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Albino to just 5 points in second quarter and to 13 points in second half. Sesto SG held Albino to an opponent 16.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 54.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Sesto SG forced 19 Albino turnovers and had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Virginia Galbiati (173-92, agency: SPORTlab Agency) notched 19 points to lead the effort and Beatrice Barberis (178-95) supported her with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Even 11 points by Croatian guard Lana Packovski (170-94) did not help to save the game for Albino. Forward Simona Devincenzi (174-92) added 5 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sesto SG have a solid four-game winning streak. Sesto SG's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Empoli on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week.
