Very expected game when 12th ranked Zamarat (7-17) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Universitario de Ferrol (14-10) 61-51 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Universitario de Ferrol. Zamarat was better in second period 11-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Shacobia Barbee (179-94, college: Georgia, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals and power forward Beatriz Sanchez (190-89) who added 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Brazilian forward Isabela Lyra (180-94) with 21 points and Czech point guard Katerina Bartonova (174-90) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Universitario de Ferrol have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Zamarat keeps the twelfth position with 17 games lost.
