Regular Season Round 23: Bourg - Evreux 87-66

ProB top team - JL Bourg (17-6) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked ALM Evreux (12-11) 87-66. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of ALM Evreux. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-66. It was a quality performance for Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-91, college: St.Bonaventure) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. JL Bourg's coach Savo Vucevic felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) came up with 9 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import point guard Corin Henry (178-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points respectively for ALM Evreux in the defeat. JL Bourg maintains first place with 17-6 record. Loser ALM Evreux keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. JL Bourg will meet SO Maritime Boulogne (#17) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. ALM Evreux will play against Poitiers (#10) and hope to secure a win.
