The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Castellbisbal's (11-10) road loss to fourth ranked Salt (12-8) 62-85 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-62. Castellbisbal was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was point guard Xavier Torrent (176-90) who scored 18 points and 5 assists. Forward Genis Bover (201-91) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Salt players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Gerard Galbete (204-88) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and guard Felix Lopez (190-85) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Salt maintains fourth position in Group C-A with 12-8 record. Loser Castellbisbal keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. Salt will face Mataro (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
