Rather expected game when 5th ranked Banco di Srd (12-11) lost to third ranked Scandone AV (15-8) in Avellino 65-77 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Scandone AV. Banco di Srd was better in second period 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Scandone AV looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Banco di Srd's players. American-FYR Macedonian point guard Marques Green (165-82, college: St.Bonaventure) orchestrated the victory by scoring 11 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. American-Polish guard David Logan (185-82, college: Indianapolis) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Croatian point guard Rok Stipcevic (185-86, agency: Alti Sport) answered with 18 points and American guard Trevor Lacey (190-91, college: N.Carolina St.) added 16 points in the effort for Banco di Srd. Banco di Srd's coach Federico Pasquini tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Scandone AV moved-up to second place, which they share with Umana VE. Loser Banco di Srd dropped to the sixth position with 11 games lost. Scandone AV will face Enel Brindisi (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Banco di Srd will play against Vanoli Cremona and hope to win that game.
