Regular Season Round 9: SEU Tbilisi - Tskaltubo 70-76

Bottom-ranked SEU Tbilisi is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to fifth ranked Tskaltubo (5-4) 76-70 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 25-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Tskaltubo forced 20 SEU Tbilisi turnovers. Uzbekistani center Dmitry Sviridov (212-85) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Giorgi Kutchava accounted for 18 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Davit Maisuradze (205-90) came up with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and center Viktor Koguashvili (203-85) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for SEU Tbilisi in the defeat. Four SEU Tbilisi players scored in double figures. Tskaltubo moved-up to third place, which they share with Arena-76. Loser SEU Tbilisi still closes the standings with nine games lost. Tskaltubo will meet at home league's second-placed Hyundai-TSU in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SEU Tbilisi will play against the league's leader DELTA (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
