There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Desio (10-14) edged on the road higher ranked Cento (17-7) 62-60 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Andrea Negri (193-88) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian guard Ariel Svoboda (192-85, agency: Interperformances) who added 13 points and 9 assists during the contest. Desio's coach Davide Villa used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Luca Pignatti (198-86) with 7 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian guard Adrian Chiera (190-94, agency: Interperformances) scored 10 points. Desio moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Milano Urania. Loser Cento keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Desio will face Iseo (#16) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cento will play against Faenza (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
