Regular Season Round 24: Bergamo - Sestu 84-58

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Bergamo (20-4) outscored at home 13th ranked Sestu (8-17) 84-58 on Sunday. Bergamo looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Rei Pullazi (203-93) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Alessandro Panni (189-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 13 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Bergamo players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Romeo Trionfo (197-85, agency: Octagon Europe) with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Giuliano Samoggia (200-83) scored 10 points. Sestu's coach Marco Sassaro gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Bergamo have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of B leader, which they share with Orzinuovi GaGa. Newly promoted Sestu keeps the thirteenth place with 17 games lost. Bergamo will face Crema (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Sestu will play against San Vendemiano (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
