Top ranked CB Canarias (18-6) recorded its sixth loss in Tenerife on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by second ranked Valencia Basket (17-6) 65-62. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of CB Canarias. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 65-62.
