Regular Season Round 23: Pau-Lacq-Orthez - Le Mans 85-71

Very expected game when 11th ranked Le Mans (10-13) lost on the road to third ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (17-6) 85-71 on Sunday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Pau-Lacq-Orthez's pressure prevailed and they won that period 23-15 extending their advantage to 14 points. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Pau-Lacq-Orthez looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American point guard DJ Cooper (183-90, college: Ohio) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists. His fellow American import Ronald Lewis (193-84, college: Ohio St., agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 21 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Five Pau-Lacq-Orthez players scored in double figures. The former international Wilfried Yeguete (201-91, college: Florida, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Ivorian guard Pape-Philippe Amagou (186-85, agency: BeoBasket) added 15 points in the effort for Le Mans.
