There was no surprise when 10th ranked Ortona (9-14) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Campli (16-5) 76-72 on Monday. Campli forced 19 Ortona turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of David Petrucci (188-85) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and point guard Riccardo Bottioni (190-93) who added 12 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals during the contest. Campli's coach Piero Millina used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was swingman Luca Castelluccia (202-86) with 24 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Gianluca Di-Carmine (200-86) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Campli moved-up to fourth place in B. Loser Ortona keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Campli will face Valdiceppo (#14) in Perugia in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ortona will play on the road against Isernia (#13) and hope to win that game.
