Leader Astana faced second-ranked Barsy Atyrau. Host Astana (16-0) defeated guests from Atyrau (5-9) 79-74. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Barsy Atyrau won third quarter 17-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Astana won last quarter 28-24. Barsy Atyrau was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Ian Miller (190-91, college: Florida St., agency: BeoBasket) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
