An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Sodertalje. Third ranked Sodertalje Kings faced 4th placed Uppsala Basket. Host Sodertalje Kings (22-9) defeated guests from Uppsala (18-13) 65-60. Uppsala Basket was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 19-12 charge of Sodertalje Kings, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for Latvian guard Davis Lejasmeiers (192-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. Croatian forward Toni Bizaca (202-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) helped adding 19 points. The former international point guard Andreas Person (190-91) responded with 19 points and swingman Axel Nordstrom (193-91) scored 11 points. Defending champion maintains third place with 22-9 record behind leader BC Lulea. Uppsala Basket at the other side keeps the fourth position with 13 games lost. Sodertalje Kings will meet at home Umea (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Uppsala Basket will play against Boras Basket (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
