Very important is a home loss of second ranked Brasilia (17-8) against fifth ranked Vivo/Franca (16-9) on Thursday night. Host Brasilia was defeated by Vivo/Franca in a tough game in Brasilia 88-92. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Brasilia. Vivo/Franca made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Five Vivo/Franca and four Brasilia players scored in double figures. Vivo/Franca have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 16-9 record. Brasilia at the other side keeps the second position with eight games lost. They share it with Mogi. Vivo/Franca will play against Minas (#12) in Belo Horizonte in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Brasilia will play at home against Paschoalotto/Bauru (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
