No shocking result in a game in Alexandria where second ranked Sydney City Comets (3-1) outleveled 10th ranked Newcastle Hunters (1-4) 94-54 on Saturday. Sydney City Comets forced 26 Newcastle Hunters turnovers and outrebounded them 46-33 including 19 on the offensive glass. Sydney City Comets looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Adrian Cabrera who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists and naturalized American guard Indiana Faithfull (193-91, college: W.Liberty St.) who added 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side American swingman Dane Suttle (198-89, college: Pepperdine) responded with 15 points and 4 steals and Joel Rauch scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Newcastle Hunters' coach already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Despite that victory Sydney City Comets went down to third position (League) due to points difference. Loser Newcastle Hunters dropped to the eleventh place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
