Important game to mention about took place in Poznan. Sixth ranked Polonia Leszno (17-12) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked Biofarm PZN (15-14) 68-67 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Biofarm PZN. Guard Nikodem Sirijatowicz (188-94) saved the victory by scoring 14 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Forward Szymon Kiwilsza (202-97) contributed with 6 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Filip Struski (200-94) answered with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Biofarm PZN. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Polonia Leszno have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Polonia Leszno maintains sixth place with 17-12 record. Biofarm PZN at the other side keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. Polonia Leszno will play against Rosa II Radom (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Biofarm PZN will play against Astoria Bydg. (#15) in Bydgoszcz and hopes to get back on the winning track.
