Everything went according to plan when thirteenth ranked Sestu (9-17) won against at home 15th ranked San Vendemiano (6-19) 63-47 on Saturday. San Vendemiano was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Giuliano Samoggia (200-83) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Romeo Trionfo (197-85, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Edoardo Rossetto (199-94) produced 9 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Andrea Carlesso (202-82) added 9 points respectively for lost side. San Vendemiano's coach Fabio Volpato tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Sestu maintains thirteenth place with 9-17 record. San Vendemiano lost fifth consecutive game. San Vendemiano at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifteenth position with 19 games lost.
