Second Stage Round 10: Lobas - Talje 73-60

Rather expected game when 8th ranked Talje Knights (3-13) lost to fifth ranked Lobas (8-9) in Lomma 60-73 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-60. Lobas outrebounded Talje Knights 51-27 including a 37-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for forward Martin Nilsson (195-92) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Center Robert Nilsson (201-96) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Lobas players scored in double figures. Naturalized Greek guard Dimitris Agathangelidis (182-98) replied with 14 points and forward Adam Karahmetovic (189-98) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Talje Knights. Talje Knights' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lobas moved-up to fourth place in BEHS forts. Talje Knights lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost. Lobas will face Huddinge (#5) on the road in the next round. Talje Knights will play against Huddinge and hope to win that game.
