Not a big story in a game in Wantirna South where bottom-ranked Magic (0-2) was rolled over by top-ranked Knox Raiders (2-0) 84-65 on Saturday. Knox Raiders forced 23 Magic turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. At the losing side forward Alex Bogart-King (200) responded with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Luke Sist produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Knox Raiders maintains second position in League with 2-0 record having just one victory less than leader Geelong S. Loser Magic still closes the standings with two games lost. Knox Raiders will face Diamond Valley Eagles (#9) in Greensborough in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Magic will play at home against Waverley Falcons and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
