Regular Season Round 28: Brasilia - Bauru 92-89

The most exciting game of round 28 in the NBB took place in Brasilia. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 4th ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (17-10) to third ranked Brasilia (18-8) 92-89 on Saturday evening. Brasilia made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Brasilia had a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. The former international point guard Fulvio de-Assis (188-81) contributed with 7 points and 11 assists for the winners. International guard Alex Garcia (191-80, agency: Interperformances) replied with 23 points and 7 assists and the former international Jefferson Andrade (207-83) added 24 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Paschoalotto/Bauru. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Brasilia moved-up to second place, which they share with Mogi. Paschoalotto/Bauru at the other side dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. Brasilia is looking forward to face league's leader Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Paschoalotto/Bauru will play at home against the league's second-placed Mogi (#2) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
