Regular Season Round 30: Angers BC - Vitre 90-69

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixteenth ranked Angers BC (12-18) smashed at home 15th ranked Vitre (12-18) 90-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Angers BC. Vitre was better in second period 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Hugo Suhard (184-92) scored 30 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Lithuanian forward Rokas Uzas (202-88) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Four Angers BC players scored in double figures. Angers BC's coach Vincent Lavandier felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Montenegrin center Aleksandar Radulovic (207-83) with 28 points and 7 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Nikola Korac (185-86) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Angers BC moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with defeated Vitre. Angers BC will face higher ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (#7) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
