Regular Season Round 2: Nunawading S. - BA CoE 47-92

Date: March 26, 2017
Everything went according to plan when BA CoE (2-0) outplayed Spectres (0-1) in East Burwood 92-47 on Sunday. BA CoE outrebounded Spectres 55-27 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Spectres were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Samantha Simons (183-0) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points. Point guard Maddison Rocci (167-98) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American center Megan Kritscher (195-89, college: Sacramento St.) replied with 10 points and 6 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Anita Brown (173, college: Akron) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Spectres. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BA CoE will face Lady Cobras (#7) in Kilsyth in the next round where they are favorite. Spectres will play against Sydney Uni S. and hope to win that game.
