Regular Season Round 49: Niigata Albirex - Toshiba BT 71-90

It was a great shooting night for Toshiba Thunders especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Four Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures. Toshiba Thunders' coach Takuya Kita used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American Davante Gardner (203-91, college: Marquette) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import forward Stephan Van-Treese (206-90, college: Louisville, agency: Inception Sports) added 10 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Toshiba Thunders maintains first place with 39-8 record. Niigata Albirex lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 27 games lost. Toshiba Thunders will meet Yokohama BC (#5) on the road in the next round. Niigata Albirex will play against the league's second-placed Sanen Neophoenix in Hamamatsu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
