We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Broadmeadow where eleventh ranked Hawks (1-2) beat 10th ranked Newcastle Hunters (1-4) 77-64 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Sean Mullan (198-90, college: Nova SE) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Jarrod Sorenson who added 9 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Hawks players scored in double figures. Hawks' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American swingman Dane Suttle (198-89, college: Pepperdine) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Jacob Foy scored 9 points and 11 rebounds. Hawks left bottom position moving up to eighth place in League. Loser Newcastle Hunters dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
