There was a minor upset in Crows Nest where 6th ranked Norths Soul Sports Bears (2-2) were edged by eighth ranked Hills Hornets (2-3) 67-66 on Sunday. Hills Hornets outrebounded Norths Soul Sports Bears 54-35 including 19 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized British forward Paul Brotherson (198-89, college: Metro St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Jason Strong (191) who added 18 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Hills Hornets' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Estonian swingman Erik Dorbek (196-82) responded with 19 points and Sean Albert scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Hills Hornets moved-up to seventh place in League. Loser Norths Soul Sports Bears keep the sixth position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
