There was no surprise when 10th ranked Scauri (11-13) was crushed at home by fourth ranked Basket Barcellona (18-6) 77-56 on Sunday. Naturalized Dominican guard Yancarlos-Jefferson Rodriguez (195-94) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Luigi Brunetti (205-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Four Basket Barcellona players scored in double figures. Basket Barcellona's coach Milan Nisic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Luca Antonietti (198-94, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Joshua Giammo' (190-93) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Basket Barcellona have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 18-6 record. Loser Scauri keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost.
