Quarter-Finals Round 1: Dnipro - Zaporizhya 94-70

Dnipro rallied past Zaporizhya to take 1-0 lead. The game without a history. Dnipro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Zaporizhya's 20. They outrebounded Zaporizhya 36-25 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dnipro looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Zaporizhya's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (202-89, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. International Olexandr Mishula (192-92) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Forward Dmitri Lipovtsev (203-86) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Stanislav Ovdeyenko (190-84, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 20 points in the effort for Zaporizhya. Five Dnipro and four Zaporizhya players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
