Important game to mention about took place in Varese. Thirteenth ranked Openjobmetis VA (10-14) saved a 2-point victory at home edging higher ranked Betaland Cdo (14-10) 74-72 on Sunday evening. The best for the losing side was American forward Dominique Archie (200-87, college: S.Carolina) with 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import guard Drake Diener (196-81, college: De Paul) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Openjobmetis VA have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with AV Cantu and Brescia. Loser Betaland Cdo keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Openjobmetis VA will face AV Cantu (#11) on the road in the next round. Betaland Cdo will play against Grissin Bon RE (#7) and hope to win that game.
