Rather expected game when 5th ranked Argentino (22-22) was smashed by third ranked Weber Bahia (23-16) in Bahia Blanca 108-65 on Monday. Weber Bahia dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Argentino's 30. Weber Bahia forced 20 Argentino turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Argentino's players. International guard Lucio Redivo (183-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 9 assists. American center Anthony-Laveal Johnson (203-88, college: Fairfield) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Five Weber Bahia players scored in double figures. American guard Novar Gadson (201-89, college: Rider, agency: DTMones) answered with 16 points and the other American import power forward Chaz Crawford (207-84, college: Drexel, agency: DTMones) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Argentino. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
