Rather expected game when 9th ranked Limoges CSP Elite (11-13) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Paris-Levallois (15-9) 84-76 on Monday. The guests trailed by 11 points after three quarters before their 27-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Paris-Levallois dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Limoges CSP Elite's 28. They outrebounded Limoges CSP Elite 36-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. Limoges CSP Elite was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Vincent Poirier (210-93) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the former international power forward Louis Labeyrie (209-92) who added 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Paris-Levallois players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Slovenian guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) with 15 points and 8 assists and American point guard DaShaun Wood (185-85, college: Wright St., agency: Inception Sports) scored 16 points. Paris-Levallois have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Strasbourg. Loser Limoges CSP Elite keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost. Paris-Levallois will face league's second-placed Pau-Lacq-Orthez at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Limoges CSP Elite will play against JDA Dijon (#13) and hope to win that game.
