Al Riyadi smashed Tadamon in Beirut 113-67. The game without a history. Al Riyadi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Al Riyadi had a 29-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 58.6 percentage. Al Riyadi players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Tadamon's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Amir Saoud (186-91) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Dominican-American point guard Edgar Sosa (190-88, college: Louisville) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. American forward Maurice Kemp (203-91, college: E.Carolina, agency: Duran International) answered with 20 points and forward Gerard Hadidian (201-95, college: Lake Land CC) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Tadamon. Tadamon's coach Paul Coughter gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Tadamon will play next round against strong Al Moutahed trying to get back on the winning streak. Al Riyadi will try to continue on its current victory against Champville at Dik El Mehdi.
