Regular Season Round 36: BC Lulea - Malbas 85-61

Basketligan top team - BC Lulea (24-8) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Malbas (3-29) 85-61. The game was mostly controlled by BC Lulea. Malbas was better in fourth quarter 12-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Lulea forced 20 Malbas turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds and Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) who added 9 points and 5 assists during the contest. BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Danish center Lasse Elbaek (208-94) with 24 points and 6 rebounds and American Josh Ritchart (206-92, college: Cal-Davis) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. BC Lulea maintains first position with 24-8 record. Malbas lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 29 lost games.
