Regular Season Round 22: Tarbes - Hainaut 85-93

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Tarbes (5-17) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Hainaut (10-12) 93-85 on Tuesday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-15. But Tarbes won fourth quarter 24-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hainaut looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Czech swingman Romana Hejdova (184-88) fired 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Jacinta Monroe (193-88, college: Florida St.) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Hainaut players scored in double figures. Australian center Abby Bishop (189-88) produced 40 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) and the former international guard Adja Konteh (178-92) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Hainaut moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Nantes. Newly promoted Tarbes keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost.
