An exciting game was played in Byblos. Byblos faced Louaize. Host Byblos (14-5) defeated guests from Zouk (10-9) 88-73. Byblos had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Clay Tucker (196-80, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) stepped up and scored 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and French power forward Ali Traore (207-85, college: S.Idaho JC, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Byblos players scored in double figures.
